1. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18, legally able to enter a contract, and applying for a genuine professional purpose. If you act for a firm, practice, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it where you purport to do so. You may not apply while impersonating another person, while prohibited from using the service, or from a jurisdiction in which FEFE has not opened the relevant membership.

2. What FEFE provides

FEFE provides membership application, professional-profile, record-checking, directory, and professional-introduction technology. Availability varies by profession and jurisdiction. FEFE may use human review, approved public sources, official APIs, licensed feeds, and applicant-supplied supporting evidence.

FEFE is not a law firm, healthcare provider, emergency service, licensing or disciplinary authority, insurer, employer, staffing agency, fiduciary, or guarantor. FEFE does not provide legal advice, diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, credentialing for a health plan, or a determination that a professional is suitable for a particular matter.

3. Accounts and security

Keep your account information accurate, protect authentication methods, complete required multifactor authentication, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized use. Accounts are personal unless FEFE expressly creates an organization-admin role. You may not share credentials, bypass access controls, or let an ineligible person use your membership.

4. Applications and membership decisions

You authorize FEFE to check submitted professional, entity, and affiliation facts using approved sources and to contact a stated organization representative. You must provide accurate and complete information, respond to reasonable clarification requests, and promptly report material changes, including restrictions, discipline, expiration, loss of good standing, or loss of organization affiliation.

FEFE may approve, request changes to, decline, suspend, expire, or revoke membership under documented rules. A source outage, ambiguous match, or unsupported jurisdiction is not treated as proof of misconduct. FEFE provides a correction/review process for disputed facts. Membership decisions are FEFE platform decisions and do not change any regulator’s record.

5. Subscriptions, renewal, cancellation, and refunds

Price and authorization

The price, currency, billing interval, taxes, trial or promotional period, and first charge date are shown before purchase in Stripe Checkout. By completing purchase, you authorize Stripe and FEFE to charge the selected payment method on a recurring basis until cancellation. No material recurring term may be hidden in these Terms or substituted for the checkout disclosure.

Renewal and cancellation

Membership renews automatically at the disclosed interval. You may cancel through the member billing portal or by emailing hello@fefeconnect.com. Cancellation stops future renewal and ordinarily takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. FEFE will not require a more burdensome cancellation method than the signup method where prohibited by law.

Application and activation

FEFE does not charge an application-review fee under the current offer. An applicant who is not approved is not invited to Checkout and is not charged for membership. Approval does not itself create a subscription; the approved applicant must separately review the recurring terms and complete Stripe Checkout before membership and profile activation.

Other refunds and changes

After profile activation, fees are nonrefundable for a partially used billing period except where law, the checkout offer, or a written FEFE commitment requires otherwise. We will provide legally required notice and consent before a material price or recurring-term change. Chargebacks do not replace the cancellation process or a good-faith attempt to resolve a billing error.

A membership fee is a fixed platform subscription. It is not contingent on an introduction, referral, engagement, case, client, fee earned, or professional outcome, and FEFE does not take a percentage of professional fees.

6. Profiles, content, and publication rights

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant FEFE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, moderate, and display that content solely to operate, secure, promote, and improve FEFE during the membership and for a reasonable wind-down period. You can request unpublication, subject to legal and evidence-retention obligations.

You must have the rights and permissions necessary for names, logos, photos, endorsements, and testimonials you submit. Do not submit patient/client testimonials, confidential case results, misleading specialties, unverifiable superlatives, or content prohibited by professional advertising rules. FEFE may edit formatting, request substantiation, decline publication, or remove content; FEFE does not assume responsibility for a member’s advertising compliance.

7. Professional obligations and introductions

Members remain solely responsible for licensure, scope of practice, conflicts checks, privilege and confidentiality, informed consent, competence, insurance, supervision, client/patient location rules, advertising, fee arrangements, records, taxes, sanctions/export rules, and every professional duty that applies to their work.

A FEFE introduction is an opportunity to communicate, not an endorsement or recommendation for a particular matter. Members independently decide whether to communicate, exchange confidential information, retain, employ, consult, refer, or contract with anyone. Any professional or commercial relationship is between the participating parties and requires its own appropriate agreement.

Before accepting any engagement, members must recheck relevant credentials and perform their ordinary diligence. Do not rely on a FEFE check as the only basis for a client, patient, legal, clinical, employment, expert-witness, or financial decision.

8. Information that must stay off FEFE

Unless FEFE later releases a specifically designed and contractually approved feature, do not upload or transmit client or patient names; protected health information; diagnoses; therapy or medical records; legal case files; privileged or work-product material; court-sealed information; government identifiers; payment-card data; passwords; criminal-history reports; or information whose disclosure would violate law, ethics, contract, or another person’s rights.

FEFE is not an emergency or crisis channel. Do not use it to report imminent harm or request urgent legal or healthcare help. Use local emergency services and appropriate crisis or professional resources.

9. Prohibited conduct

• impersonating a person or organization or submitting false, altered, stale, or misleading credentials;
• harassment, discrimination, threats, exploitation, coercion, or unlawful solicitation;
• spam, scraping, bulk extraction, directory resale, unauthorized recruiting, or building a competing database;
• malware, security testing without written permission, access-control bypass, credential sharing, or service disruption;
• using member information for automated decision-making, surveillance, or sensitive profiling unrelated to an authorized professional introduction;
• misrepresenting FEFE membership as regulator approval, certification, a background check, or a guarantee; or
• using FEFE in violation of law, professional rules, source terms, sanctions, or another person’s rights.

10. FEFE intellectual property

FEFE’s software, design, text, branding, selection and arrangement, and other platform materials are owned by FEFE or its licensors. Except for normal service use, no licence is granted to copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, sell, or exploit them. Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation, provided FEFE does not identify you publicly without permission.

11. Third-party services and sources

The service depends on third parties such as Microsoft, Azure, Stripe, GitHub, professional authorities, and business registries. Their terms and privacy notices may also apply. FEFE does not control their availability or records and does not claim their endorsement. Technical accessibility is not permission to harvest a source; FEFE may pause a check when source terms or access are uncertain.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using FEFE and cancel the subscription at any time. FEFE may restrict or suspend access to protect users or the service; investigate a credible credential, conduct, billing, or security concern; comply with law; or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, FEFE will provide notice and an opportunity to correct or appeal. Immediate temporary action may be taken when delay could create risk or leave a materially stale public claim online.

On termination, profile access and publication end according to the service process. Provisions that logically survive—including payment obligations already incurred, ownership, evidence retention, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, disputes, and enforcement—remain effective.

13. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FEFE is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation; that every public source is complete, current, or accurate; that every material fact will be discovered; or that a member, introduction, engagement, or professional service will meet expectations. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FEFE and its owners, personnel, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, opportunities, goodwill, or data; or professional decisions and services between members. FEFE’s aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the fees you paid FEFE during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law and may not apply in every jurisdiction.

15. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify FEFE against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your submitted content, professional services, unlawful use, breach of these Terms, or violation of another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim resulted from FEFE’s own unlawful conduct.

16. Governing law and disputes

Georgia law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law in your location applies. Before filing a claim, the parties will send a written description to the other and attempt in good faith to resolve it for 30 days. Unless mandatory law permits another forum, courts with jurisdiction in Georgia will be the exclusive forum. These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive a non-waivable right to bring an individual claim in small-claims court or to contact a regulator.

17. General terms

These Terms and the incorporated notices are the agreement concerning FEFE use. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be narrowed or removed only as necessary, and the rest remains effective. A delay in enforcement is not a waiver. You may not transfer the agreement without consent; FEFE may transfer it in a merger, reorganization, financing, or sale with appropriate notice. Headings are for readability.

We may update the Terms prospectively. Material changes will receive reasonable notice and renewed acceptance where required. The version accepted at the relevant time remains in FEFE’s consent record.
